Amir M. Shoar, Esq.

Mr. Shoar graduated with honors from the University of California, San Diego, and later graduated with honors from the University of San Diego School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Shoar excelled as a member University of San Diego’s National Trial Team and was invited to compete in the San Diego Defense Lawyers National Trial Tournament, in which he placed 2nd in the nation for his trial advocacy skills. Mr. Shoar also externed for The Honorable Judge Joel M. Pressman while in law school, giving him behind-the-scenes experience in the judicial system.

Following law school, Mr. Shoar worked for several prominent defense firms, defending several large corporations, insurance companies, and the State of California on a wide range of complex civil litigation matters, including product liability, professional liability (malpractice), premises liability, business litigation, car and trucking accidents, personal injury claims, and employment matters.

After spending several years defending against lawsuits, Mr. Shoar founded Shoar Law Group in order to represent the individuals that have been harmed by defendants’ senseless and careless negligence. Mr. Shoar’s extensive experience defending large companies and insurance carriers gave him critical insight into the tricks and strategies defendants use to try to evade the infallible grip of justice. Mr. Shoar is able to use this experience to bring the fight to defendants to maximize his clients’ recovery.

When away from the office, Mr. Shoar enjoys riding his motorcycle and spending time with his fiancée and his golden shepherd, Zeus.
